Pawstive Pet Care Terms & Conditions

By booking services with Pawstive Pet Care, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Vaccination Requirements

All pets must be current on required vaccinations and free from contagious illnesses. Owners may be asked to provide proof of vaccination before services begin.

2. Pet Health & Behavior

Owners agree to disclose any medical conditions, behavioral concerns, aggression, anxiety, or special care needs. Pawstive Pet Care reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services if a pet poses a safety risk.

3. Emergency Care

In the event of a medical emergency, Pawstive Pet Care will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and the emergency contact. If immediate veterinary care is necessary, the owner authorizes treatment and agrees to be responsible for all veterinary expenses.

4. Scheduling & Payments

Payment is due in accordance with the agreed booking terms. Services are not guaranteed until confirmed. Additional services requested during a booking may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellations

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service will not incur a fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee.

6. Access to Property

Owners are responsible for providing safe and reliable access to their homes. Pawstive Pet Care is not responsible for issues resulting from faulty locks, security systems, or inaccessible properties.

7. House Care Services

House care add-ons such as mail collection, plant watering, trash removal, and light rotation will be performed as requested. Pawstive Pet Care is not responsible for pre-existing property damage or maintenance issues.

8. Dog Bath Add-On

Dog bath services include a basic wash and towel dry only. Grooming services such as haircuts, trimming, nail trimming, or styling are not provided.

9. Liability

While every effort is made to provide safe and loving care, Pawstive Pet Care is not liable for illness, injury, escape, loss, or death resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including pre-existing conditions or unforeseen incidents.

10. Photos & Updates

Pawstive Pet Care may take photos of pets during services for client updates and, unless otherwise requested in writing, for promotional purposes on social media and marketing materials.

11. Right to Refuse Service

Pawstive Pet Care reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if conditions are unsafe for the pet, caregiver, or property.

12. Holiday Rates

A holiday surcharge of $15 per visit will apply to services scheduled on or around major holidays, including but not limited to New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve.

13. Early Return Policy

No refunds will be issued for scheduled services canceled due to an owner's early return from vacation, a work trip, or other travel plans. Time slots are reserved exclusively for each client and cannot always be filled on short notice.

14. Late Payment Fees

Payment is due in accordance with the agreed booking terms. Any unpaid balance not received within 3 days of the due date will incur a $10 late fee, plus an additional $5 per day until payment is received in full. Pawstive Pet Care reserves the right to suspend or deny future services until all outstanding balances have been paid.

15. Last-Minute Booking Fee

Bookings requested within 24 hours of the service start time will incur a $15 last-minute booking fee.

16. Returned Payment Fee

Any returned checks failed electronic payments, disputed charges, or chargebacks will incur a $25 processing fee in addition to the original balance owed.

17. Additional Mileage Fee

For vet transportation, groomer transportation, pet supply pick-up, or other requested errands outside a 10-mile radius, an additional fee of $0.75 per mile may be charged.

18. Add-On Service Fees

The following optional add-on services are available:

• House Check Add-On (mail collection, plant watering, trash removal, light rotation): $15 per visit

• Vet or Groomer Transportation: $25 round trip within 10 miles

• Pet Supply Pick-Up: $15 service fee plus the cost of supplies

• Dog Bath Add-On (wash and towel dry only): Price determined at booking based on pet size and coat type.
